Project Overview
The Biden Table is a glass table we worked with our technology client to engineer, fabricate and deliver to a law office in Washington DC. The client need was for an elegant glass table that could seat all the partners of a law firm and allow video teleconference with their offices in other cities.
GlassWorks was selected to specify, engineer, fabricate and deliver the glass components of this table.
The table is over forty feet long and comprises over fifty uniquely cut and polished pieces of Starphire – Low Iron glass that was then underside painted to the client’s uniquely specified color.
Each piece was assembled to ensure fit, then labeled, disassembled, packaged and shipped to fit the onsite production schedule.
Our Results
Due to GlassWorks attention to detail and quality of fabrication, the on-site glass installation proceeded effortlessly and our technology client was able to open the conference room in time for a visit by Vice President Joe Biden.
We are now working on the other conference tables at the law firm’s offices in other States.
